Privacy policy

Effective October 21, 2026

In short. Offy has no accounts and sends us no data from your phone. Your limits, history and streak stay on your iPhone.

We don’t know which apps you use. iOS gives Offy only encrypted identifiers for the apps you pick, and they can’t be read.

Apple handles payments. We never see your card details.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described in this policy is:

Jakub Rusinowicz, doing business as AstroCode Jakub Rusinowicz
ul. Pogodna 14, 27-400 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland
Tax ID (NIP) 6612380310, REGON 386840590
Email: [email protected]

Write to the address above about anything related to your data. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

2. The Offy app on your iPhone

Data stored on your phone. Offy stores your limits (daily minutes and extension price), your history (limits reached, extensions, limits turned off), your streak and App Store purchase confirmations on your device. This data never reaches our servers and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes it from your phone.

Screen Time. Offy uses Apple’s Screen Time features. You pick apps in Apple’s own system screen, and Offy receives only unreadable identifiers for them. iOS itself counts the time and locks the apps. We never learn which apps you have or how long you use them.

Notifications. Your phone creates the notifications about a used-up limit. We don’t send them from a server and collect no identifiers for them.

Payments. You buy extensions through the App Store. The payment and your Apple Account are handled by Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, as a separate controller, under the Apple Privacy Policy. The app receives only a transaction confirmation: the product and transaction identifiers.

Statistics from Apple. Apple gives app makers aggregated App Store statistics (such as download counts) and crash reports, if you agree to share them with app developers in your iPhone settings. This data can’t be used to identify you.

3. The getoffy.app website

This policy mainly covers the Offy app. The getoffy.app website where we publish it uses no cookies or analytics tools, and we keep no visitor logs. Your chosen site language stays only in your browser’s storage.

The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To send the site to your browser and protect it from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic connection data. It does so on our instructions, based on our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. When you write to us

If you email [email protected], we process your email address and message to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When your message is a complaint, we also process it to meet our obligations to consumers (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We keep messages until the matter is closed, and complaints until any claims expire. Mail to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare to our Gmail mailbox, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

5. Who receives data

Data can only reach the companies named above: Apple (payments, as a separate controller), Cloudflare (delivering getoffy.app and forwarding email) and Google (email mailbox). We don’t sell data or share it with advertisers. Cloudflare and Google may process data in the USA. They take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to provide adequate protection, and use standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability, as provided by the GDPR. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time. Just write to [email protected].

If you think we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to a data protection authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl), or the authority where you live.

Providing data is voluntary. Without an email address we can’t reply to you. We make no automated decisions about you and don’t profile you.

7. Changes

If we change how we process data, we’ll update this policy and the date at the top. We’ll also mention important changes in the app update notes.
